The 25-year-old apartment has been on the rental market since it was purchased and was lacking in maintenance and requirements of a modern home.   The proposal was to upgrade the apartment to modern standards and incorporate materials that offer ease of maintenance before it could be released back into the rental market in Koramangala. 

Keeping a neutral color palette was a conscious decision so that the home acts as a simple and adaptable backdrop to accommodate the personalities of ever-changing renters. Civil additions and demolitions were key strategies that were employed to ensure natural light reaches even the deepest corners of the home.
