VIP Dining Room at Thai House Restaurant

The proposal was to design the interiors of the private dining room at the new location of the oldest Thai restaurant in Bengaluru. The space is to host the establishment's premium and regular patrons, ranging from celebrities to diplomats.  

The aim was to create a space that exudes a timeless luxury with an understated material palette and one seen commonly across Thai households. Wood, lime plastered, rough textured accent walls, and wall and ceiling paneling in bamboo woven mats. All materials in traditional Thai kitchens are reimagined to give the small space a distinct character from the rest of the restaurant.
