This project involved the architectural renovation and horizontal extension of an existing single-storey residential building. The intent was to extend the building’s functional lifespan in response to the area's growing real estate demand, without resorting to demolition, thereby embracing a sustainable and cost-efficient design approach.

The proposal adapts the front portion of the original structure to the extension, transforming it into a rentable retail unit, adding commercial value to the property. Meanwhile, the rear portion is redesigned as a fully equipped studio apartment, offering a compact yet comfortable residential space.

This architectural solution maximizes the potential of the existing footprint while aligning with urban development goals, adaptive reuse strategies, and sustainable building practices
