The proposal is an estate bungalow nestled on a mound-like hilltop at the highest point of the property. 

While following the natural terrain of the site the home is tucked into the ground with the intention of regaining the natural form of the site as the building ages gracefully. 

The vistas from all the interior spaces are oriented toward the forested hillsides creating an intriguing elevation as one approaches from the driveway that snakes up from the bottom of the hill. This elevation, of a series of parallel, natural stone walls and the cloistered entryway set the stage to contrast the expansive and open interiors.
